some people say they should and some say they shouldnt.. what do u guys think. any men and women in the military give me ur honest opinions.

I think that's great if you are thinking about joining the navy. It will be a great experience for you. It will be hard because you will have to prove yourself to them. But just stay strong and don't let those navy boys get to you.
To be honest no matter what branch of military you join as a women you will meet some men that don't believe women should be in the military at all. I met one of those men he told me that women makes things harder for them because all we do is end up pregnant anyways and that if the army wanted us to have a family then they would have issue us one. So I say join the navy and be the best sailor girl you can be!!!!

I am in the Navy and I dont see why not. There are policies and procedures in place should any problems arise. I know many women in the Navy that have not any problems and love what they do. There are barracks and racks on ships just for women. The only problem women might have is sometimes they will be denied orders to a certain ship if they dont have enough "pink" racks. Women cant go on a submarine either. The command I am in is half male and half female and we never have any issues in regards to gender.

I am a female Navy veteran of 8 years and excelled very well while serving. I was even sailor of the year one year and did much better than most of the males I worked with even though my job was as a Boatswains Mate in a really male dominated field. That said, you have to be willing to work long, hard hours, don't whine or complain and sacrifice alot. It was a great opportunity and a great experience but, not the place to raise a family.

I have no problem whatsoever with women joining the navy. They are not in the thick of battle, generally. The Navy is a much more intellectual, technological service. Women in fact do extremely well in the Navy.

Why not??!!
Gay men are in the navy and they aren't doin the nasty with the straight boys, so the myth that women can't join because they might have sex is bs.
Women could sue if anything happens anyway.
Besides, maybe having at least a few girls to look at once in awhile will guys from getting all horny on each other.

i think that they should join the navy and the army and the air force as well. feminists are always complaining that there aren't enough women in the military and that most of the victims of violence are women and yet they never complain how most of the soldiers dying are men. if there are x men for every 1 woman in the military, then y military men die for every military woman that dies, where y >> x.

of course the girls can join the navy..we live in a democracy world..not ancient times.Its just the emotional problem that they have to face when away from families for a quite some time..it might had an effect with their work though..
