well i went to cingular to get a phone, they said my ss number is used by another person how can i fix that ...... i m sure its not used by noone but i cant get a cell phone because of that thanks for your help.. Also i cant even view my Credit Score

Maybe someone has stolen your identity. You definitely need to contact your local authorities. You may be too late. Talk with the credit rating agencies on the phone and figure it out. Only this way can you fix it. Without making sure your identity isn't compromised can you stand a chance with your financial security in the future.

Double check your SSN and make sure you are giving out the correct number.
If you are, you had better be filing some police reports and visiting the Social Security office nearest you.

My friend, it looks like you are the victim of idenitity theft. Report it to the police or, if possible, FBI. I would then proceed to check all credit card numbers to see if there are any erroneous charges. I imagine that the us of someone's SS# is fairly easy for the law to track.

You need to check your credit report go here https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
It really is free as long as you dont want extra stuff it will show you all accounts in your name and you can call and correct them,
also go to your local SS office and report it and get a new number. good luck your in for a headache.

You need to go to your local Social Security office with ID and make sure someone hasn't stole your identity ASAP!!!
