I started my period on November 25th. Other than about 2 days it stopped, it's been going ever since. It's strange, it stops while resting and sleeping but once I get up and go to work, about an hour after being on my feet, I get a sudden gush and it goes for a while and then slows down.
I have never had any type of problem like that. I have always been heavy but never an extended period of time. I'm getting abdominal and lower back pain, I feel like an old lady. (but I'm only 30)
Birth control to regulate is not an option, I'm allergic. No I am not pregnant, my bf is a virgin.
Anyone had this happen to them? How long can it possibly last?????

u should discuss with your doctor. from my own personal experience though, if you have had regular problems with your period, not just this one time, but regularly, it could possibly be endometriosis which involves a lot of pain.

I firmly agree with the others. You should see your Dr. In the meantime.... drink lots of fluids to rehydrate. Stop taking ANY aspirin product as it is a blood-thinner and will promote bleeding. Use Tylenol or another acetominephen type pain reliever for the cramps. Take a few iron supplements and call your ON/GYN. You don't want to panic, but your body is telling you something is off with it... Attention should be paid.

This is going on far too long. Time to go see the obn/gyn. You shouldn`t be gushing blood like that. Get a checkup. My daughter has a problem with her periods because she has a problem and has actually become anemic from this. She also is not able to take the pill because of being born with a liver disease.

Have you had your yearly check -up? I'd go to the Dr. soon if you haven't. You could have sisses on your ovaries. Or some kind of pal-ups. If your planning on having kids don't let this go on it could be seriuos. I have endometreosis and my periods are messed up they only found it when they were going in to tie my tubes I have had two boy's. It only should up after my kids, but that doesn't mean you couldn't have it also. I wouldn't let this go on long. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck and God Bless

You need to go see a Dr. There could be bleeding in your ovaries,
everytime you stay still the bleeding is not open. when you run or get up your moving your body so yes it will open. Dont panick but if you dont get to a dr. this could mess you up with the birthing system. or get an infection, this could have happen riding bike, horse, sex any of that/

You know you should see a doctor as that is not normal.Dont panic,it happens to many many women but its not healthy esp considering the fact that you are so young.
As I said,go see a good doctor and you will be fine.
P.S-Its not a sex related problem....it happens generally to women on the heavy side.

This is one of those things where you tell your doctor. Now. This is not something that is "normal" dont let anyone try to tell you otherwise.
