I had crab curry for lunch and dinner, it was slightly oily. I had to get up at 1.30 a.m. and sit in the toilet. Does this usually happen to people after they remove the gall bladder. Or is it that I have started eating food with spice and oil ( little bit of both) very soon. One more thing, when can I resume my exercise that is 4 km of walking.

Try staying away from spices for at least 90 days following gall bladder surgery. Eat things that are simple, like chicken noodle soup (Progresso makes great chicken soup), creamed soups are good as well. Also, if you want to eat meat, be certain you cook it slowly and for a longer period of time so it is moist and tender. Your digestive system requires a priming period again. You system has to get used to not having the bile, which is produced by the gall bladder, assisting in your digestion. If the rumbling gets really bad, trying something as simple as Tums, Gas Ex or Rolaids. One of those should be enough. Good luck and I hope you feel okay.
