Why not take the best of both cultures, Persian and American, and create your own self? Nothing fake about that. And don't push yourself too hard on the virgin thing. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's not like you have an expiration date. Just be cool and when you have the right woman in your life, everything will work itself out.

Well, my husband was a virgin until he was 21 & met me...lol...I still don't understand why, or even how really that he could stay that way for sooo long. He's attractive, smart etc etc...I can say he did seem to have some sort of 'nobody likes me' complex...when I first met him. Before we got together, I just always told him he just hasn't met the right person yet...and he won't be a virgin forever...and those things will come naturally. I had no idea at the time we would end up together.
Just go with your belief's...don't do it because 'everybody else is doing it'. Do it because you want to, because it's in your heart...and everything else that matters will fall into place.

Oh, u poor thing.. the world is just tumbling down for u. Guess what?!? I am a virgin too and I happen to be 19. You should actually commend yourself for having enough self control to not go out and just screw anything that walks. I am a female, and let me tell you this.. we think it is an extreme turnoff for a guy to like us, but be scared to approach us and let us know how he feels. Just build up enough strength to chat with her.. you guys might become the best of friends or more.. never give up!

Hmmm . . . you should not be in such a hurry to lose your virginity. Save that for the woman you marry. I'm 21, and that's what I'm planning to do. Now, if you're trying to figure women out, I think you will learn a lot from this column:

The guy also has an Internet radio show, so look it up. Goood luck!

Be glad that you are in the US instead of in Iran. You have a whole life ahead of you, with wonderful opportunities. Don't regret your Persian heritage, but do embrace your new opportunities. Where to begin? Figure out what you would like to do with your life. If it requires education to do it. go for it. If it doesn't, get an education anyway. Perhaps you will meet some nice young man, and that may change your plans a bit. Welcome to the zoo, and good luck!

There is nothing wrong with being a 19 year old virgin! Please don't let anyone tell you any different. I'm sure that when you find the right girl, you will figure things out. Until then, congrats! That is something to be proud of.

It's normal to be a virgin as a teenager. You need to sort yourself out before you get involved with a girl.
