Did He take his job? Who decides which God rules at what era? Did Thor do something wrong that they searched for a new God? And who's 'they' ?

Well historically speaking - Thor and all the other Pagan Gods are hanging out outside of old cathedrals and churches in the form of chimera and gargoyles - but that's a long story...

And last time I checked, we still have thunder and lightning, so as far as I know he's still around...

Would like to know who 'they' are too...

:)

This new Christian God is far from being kinda new. He's been in existence since the beginning of time and before. God didn't take anybodies job. Thor is a myth an untruth an nonexistent entity. "They" don't exist. If you are serious about this and not joking then you need help.

God turned him into a male model named Fabio. Good corporate take-overs usually involve taking care of those being de-throned.

Who decides which God? I think it's the group with the most military power.

Hard saying what Thor did wrong. Too much thunder maybe?

Thor is just one of many gods worshipped by the Vikings (they are called Norse Gods). Who decides which God rules at what era? Usually it's whoever is in charge of the government. This is why separation of church and State is such an important factor to having the freedom of religion. Kings and Emperors in history have often declared the "right" religion (e.g. Constantine, Henry VIII, Chairman Mao; yes, atheism counts).

Why do these leaders declare religions for everyone? Many details, but all boils down to Power, and with Power comes Wealth.

Thor's cool and all, but he never did anything like speaking the entire universe into creation. By the way, I don't really believe in Thor or anything, I just like the comics. I am part Norwegian, though.

Who is Thor, but a make believe god that is not real. There is only one real God. No Thor, unless he is your make believe friend.

i am a true believer that the era of the bible god will go away pretty soon.
and then, maybe "they" (humanity) will go back to thor.......
yeah, he had a problem with his hammer, i know that,
but.....at least he respected humanity and human life..unlike the so called and kinda new christian"god" .

I have no idea who Thor is, but the Bible has the same God from the beginning of Creation until now.

Maybe you need to be more specific.
