The Christian Muslim Forum, headed by leading clerics from both religions, argued: "Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, and we wish this significant part of the Christian heritage of this country to remain an acknowledged part of national life. The desire to secularize religious festivals is offensive to both of our communities."

More from that Christian Muslim Forum statement: "Those who use the fact of religious pluralism as an excuse to de-Christianize British society unthinkingly become recruiting agents for the extreme Right. They provoke antagonism towards Muslims and others by foisting on them an anti-Christian agenda they do not hold."

Tell us all more, I stand in amazement that a Muslim would call for more Christ at Christmas. The stated Muslim position is to Kill all infidels (non Muslims).
I say yes to more Christ at Christmas. No to more Mohammad at any time of the year, he was a killer and a paedophile, a thief. these are known facts so we must get them out of our country

Because Christians and Muslims respect each other, hope for a more inclusive society and despite different beliefs have a shared interest in the birth of Christ.

.Automatically they are wanting more christ in Christmas.I think christmas is not a celebration of the birth of Jesus, because there is no strong evidence that Jesus was born on December 25. That date was the tradition of Roman people annual celebration

I wasn't aware of a Christian muslim forum?
Does it take a rocket scientist to figure out why Christians want to keep CHRIST in Christmas? Does it really sound like a conspiracy to you on the part of the Christians?
How about we throw a birthday party for YOU but tell you that you're not invited to attend?

I am a Buddhist; and I'd like to see more "Christ in Christmas"! In the U.S., as it stands today, the only people I ever see are hucksters and hypocrites.
