People think they know all this stuff about God from the Bible, but you can't fit an infinite being into a group of stories that are not even remotely original or different from previous folklore.

The average person cannot grasp the concept of not existing after death, so they make up their little scenarios where some greater being will take care of, and protect them from an impending eternity of nothingness. For some it's because of fear, and for others it's an inflated ego which says that man is too important to just die and no longer exist.

He is beyond comprehension fully, but He also makes Himself better known to those who believe as well. I doubt anyone can truly wrap his mind around everything that encompasses God. I know I have seen the changes He has made in my life so I do feel closer to Him as if I know Him better, much of that has to do with the lessons the Bible covers. Plus the Bible is a group of stories telling of God's words and works it is not a tell all, all there is to Him sort of book never has anyone claimed it to be. Look around and try to take the entire world in, can you? No but I bet you kind find a book with stories and facts about it at just about any bookstore.

Maybe it's because all the writings are by humans, and they can only write what they comprehend.

God is so much bigger than that book. God is not judgemental, in my opinion.
