Yes, water is good for losing weight, provoded that you exercise a bit too.
I don't know if it prevent celulite, eat less meat and more vegetables to prevent cellulite. Cellulite happen when you lose weight by dieting, exercise is better.

Your body composition is mostly water. Water keeps you from getting dehydrated, which leads to feeling tired and getting diarrhea. I would drink at least eight 8 oz. glasses daily and more if you are very active. If you are trying to lose weight, you can fast and not eat, but always drink a lot of water. I do not know about the cellulite and stretch marks.

You need water for several reasons.
1) your body pumps your blood trough your sytem, and most of what helps it flow is water.your saliva contains water, how quickly we forget how much saliva we can make a day. Water helps your skin from becoming to dry, and anything else that could become dry from lack of moistness.water keeps your blood a liquid.think of when your body parts are inside of you.Moist. Think of when people get killed and a organ is left without moistiure...dryed up and cruncy...you need water to not dry up, especaily on the inside.

i don't think it prevents cellulite and stretch marks.. BUT.. it's great for diets.. you should drink @ least 8-10 [8oz] glasses a day.. our body is 70% water.. there's a whole lot of info that i'm actually too tired to type up riite now.. but basically we need it.. so drink it.. and try wikipedia..

well, your body is made up of a large percentage of water, actually.
most doctors reccommend at least 8x 8 ounces per day.
great to help lose weight, and keep your skin clear, and to flush out toxins from your system and from your bladder... etc....
