change shifts every 28 days ex. shift 1--7:00am to 3:00pm M-F, Then go to shift 2--Thur.& Fri. 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Sat.& Sun. 11:00am to 11:00pm, then go to shift 3--11:00pm to 7:00am Sun-Thur, Then go to shift 4--Fri.& Sat 11:00pm to 11:00am,Mon.- Wed. 3:00pm to 11:00pm-- 8hrs mandantory overtime on shift 4

it can cause exhaustion and soooo much more.. we were actually just learning about this yesterday.. your body never adjusts to this.. EVER.. even if you did it for 100 years.. change your job hunni.. or retire if you're ready... save what's left of your health..

I watched my sister-in-law work rotating shifts at a paper mill for over 30 years. Didn't seem to affect her health at all.

That kind of rotation would drive me bloody crazy. I have a feeling you will be exhausted physically and mentally from having to change sleeping patterns and eating patterns often.

Hi, I have read that working rotating shifts acually increases the risk of colon cancer, I don't remember how much, but it was something I remember reading.
