In the past month or so my speech is slowing down occasionally and sometimes I cannot get a word out. It's almost like a stutter, but more like my memory stops. My speech is slowing and sometimes it sounds like I am drunk (but I don't drink). Anyone have any suggestions, I am not sure what to do. I am also REALLY tired, and than have bouts of not sleeping.. My left arm goes numb a lot too. THANKS!

are you a teenager?

That explains it perhaps.

it might be a stroke!!!!
other symptoms of a stroke include headaches, poor balance, vision problems (blurry or decreased vision in either or both eyes), weakness/numbness (that you are getting in your arm) and difficulty speaking (also what you're experiencing).

those are classic symptoms of a stroke. if you're elderly, have heart conditions (ie: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes), overweight, smoker...then it probably is a stroke
if you're young then it still might be a stroke, but from other causes such as abnormal bleeding in your brain (ie: from trauma or drugs)

if any of this stuff pertains to you...then go call your doctor and head to the hospital...like, NOW. symptoms may get worse ifyou dont do anything about it

Sounds like the symptoms of a stroke. You could be on your way to getting one or a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). I would get checked out by a doctor stat.
