help him pick out a present for his sisters and mother, what does that mean? Is that a friend thing? Or an "I like you" thing? OR does he really need the help? lol

It's a guy from work i'm into and I've never hung out with him, but we talk at work and on myspace. I've known him a few weeks which is why I thought this strange.

I think he's using it as an excuse to hang out with you (but at the same time get the pressents too) so hopefully you're good with picking pressies!! lol

He is not looking for a gift for his family. He is trying to buy you a gift! He is trying to make you special. Now if it is really for the family and you like him anyway, you don't need the gift.

You probably got him interested in myspace and now is looking to move it a step further(you now go to ym?). Hang out with him and try to check if he's the marrying type then go for it. Who knows "Love comes from the most unexpected places! IN myspace.com" LOL

Sounds pretty innocent for a 1st date. I think I like this guy. He might just need a woman's perspective, but hey, he chose you! Just go with it and don't worry about it. Have some fun and see how things work out.

It could be any three to be honest with you. Typically, men are very hard to read, and there is no 'black and white' with them..(as im sure they would say the same about us! lol) Anyway, take him up on his offer....Maybe hes scared of asking you out on a date for fear of rejection....Maybe he wants to see how you guys click out of work by taking you shopping, before he asks you on a serious date...or maybe, he just really needs help...Who knows.....but unless you take the offer, you might be missing out on something good.....Just dont set YOURSELF up for dissapointment....It could be any of the three.

I think you should help him out. Take things as they come and then you'll have your answer. The more you hang out with him you should be able to see what his REAL purpose for asking you was. Maybe he didn't know how to ask you out and this was his way of doing it without sounding sesperate. Have fun!

, Well OK,
I'm a guy, and I think he's into you, trying to take a clever casual approach. Not a bad tactic either, because that way
if things don't click while your out shopping, then there's no embarresment and things can continue to progress....

He's hopeless with 'girl' gifts but wants to impress his family. He might like you too, but who knows if it is for more than a friend. Only time will tell on that one...or asking him.

Go for it and help him, you might get a great friend for life, and maybe he might even get you a present to say Thank-you.
