Without cut and pasting whole sections of books, can anyone give proof that the earth is older than 6,000 years.

I would like to look at this in a difernt direction. If the world is millions of years old how does that prove that God did not creat it in six days. If God is all powerfull the what would of stopped him from creating a world that is millions of years old just in a few days. What if God created the world with fosils and other stuff that is millions of years old. If God created the stars he would of had to make it as if they were billions of years old or else we wouldn't be able to see the light from most of them. Also the bible says that God is with out time or imutable. That makes me wonder is time just an ilusion to keap our brains from exploding. Also wouldn't a God that loves us but things in the world for us to use science to exam and wouldn't he want us to think.

There are lots of evidence to give you. But if you honestly believe dinosaurs lived at the same time as humans, you have obviously given up all hope of thinking rationally.

First of all, nothing in science is fact. Science is a bunch of theories that explain facts. Secondly, there is no logical reason to believe that the Earth is 6 thousand years old, whereas there is a multitude of reasons to suggest that the Earth is about 4 billion years old.

I have no idea, in all honesty. :) But I'd have to say they ran across dinosaur bones of some sort. As for the tools, they were most likely from a different time if they were being used to excavate the remains. Maybe a village was built on top of the bones. Thousands of possibilities.
