Your feelings are power - and the more you like him the less that power is under your control and you're not used to that. So when he does something and you're not used to the power moving that way, you feel negatively. Maybe it's because of the way he is doing things, maybe it is because of his personality traits that are not "perfect for you"; (either they wouldn't fit in with you or they don't fit your "version" of him).
Negative feelings just come with positive feelings sometimes; and can especially come out when we forget that we may fall for someone for the wrong reasons and refuse to face that when evidences are beating us in the head. Maybe these feelings are evidence of that.
It's tough to see whether we care about someone else or care about getting that someone else to give to us.
Live up to your responsibilities before you demand your rights. This goes for relationships as well.

Sounds like your crush is bigger than you thought. My guy is really sweet, but I want to kill him sometimes too. It's just something that happens when you like some one. They know how to push all your buttons without knowing. Sometimes you don't mind if they get pushed a little though. That's why you haven't " killed" him yet. Good luck girl!

Wanting to "kill him" (not literally) is part of the crush. When someone does not act how you want or give you the attention you desire... it makes you want to "kill him" because the crush makes you crave such attention.

Because you are in denial. You don't want to admit that you like him. Maybe because you think there are flaws in him that you just can't accept.... maybe because he's been your friend for a while and it'd be awkward.... I don't know. It could be anything.
This reminds me of Tina and Gary on that show WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU.
