why are "christians" always in your face about THE LORD?

is there some reason that "believers" can't help but bother everyone with their mythology?

I have to agree sometimes it does get annoying with some, but if for a second you put yourself in their place...They believe and part of that faith is to spread the word...that's all they are doing.

Because a lot of people can't see any other way. They are completely blinded by their faith and therefore believe that everyone else should believe the same. But obviously that isn't the case because even if God does exist he gave people free will and so would want people to believe various things just as long as they lived a good life. That's what it's really about - being a good person with good morals.

Every time I turn around I hear someone screaming about Christians. The why is obvious, they want to save your eternal soul. Sorry if this inconveniences you.

Now lets mention the other groups that get in your face. How many atheists have you talked to. Many of them throwing theories just as crazy as god, such as aliens settling the Earth and living on the south pole. Oh and the ones who simply believe in science, I have never had so many people of one belief tell me that I am an idiot for what I believe than atheists. I get less flack for being a liberal than I do for believing in god and I live in Utah.

I think if I can take the insults flung at me with a grain of salt, you can learn to take someone trying to teach you something they believe will help you eternally.

This is a very general question with no real answers. Christians are not in your face about the Lord. If they were, it wouldn't be a Christian who was in your face about it. Christians for the most part preach the gospel and let unbelievers do the rest of the deciding.

I am a believer, as you call us..as a matter of fact, I am a Baptist...And I am not always in other peoples faces about the Lord...The way I see it, is that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion...whether the opinion is right or wrong.......But I do agree, some people are way too pushy about their religion....

As a Christian I can say I am never in anyone's "face" about the Lord. I simply live my life and hope others do as well, and we all end up living as happily as we can

Your non-belief doesn't bother me, yet it is always in my face. Why let things bother you at all? Are we hurting you by believing in God and worshipping Him? Does our prayers hurt you in anyway? Does seeing a church burn your eyes? Get over it. God is here to stay, even if no one is left to believe in Him.

We are not trying to bother anybody we are spreading the word of God because that's what we are told to do so that way when we are all judged nobody can say they didn't know and also that's one way we serve our Lord.
