I know I have.....and am in repenting for it (ie fixing it) and G-d is blessing me for that. My heart repents, and the action will soon be redeemed. I have given into lustful movies and stole my tithe, justified with a good offering. Movies are erased from computer...what a relief. You know when He disciplines us, we should rejoice? (James 1) HE LOVES US!
I think its a good and humble thing to confess.
I know when I abuse Grace, and sin knowing grace will cover it, my contact with Holy Spirit turns off quickly and sin temptation skyrockets. Anyone else?
It ok to admit you're human, but not ok to pretend theres no problem. And I really dont care what an unbeliever posts here. I came to talk to believers, not justify G-d's existence all night to doubting Thomas'.
Blessings
David

Yes unfortunately we do.instead of getting passionate about our faith, and teaching through example. some of us sit on our Butts and expect to be safe based on Grace alone. what ever happened to those people that would get so excited about sharing the Gift of Salvation/ now all we do is hide it under a pillow and wait for the Grace fairy to make it grow. unless we as Christians get up and shout it from the roof tops. we are cursing others to live in ignorance.

Hi David,
I do not think one can abuse Grace. I base this on the fact that Grace is something we never deserved in the first place. The fact that we all sin and fall short demonstrates the need for Grace. The bible declares that "His grace is sufficient". I've learned the christian walk is a journey, a marathon, not a sprint. God alone is the author and the finisher of our faith. Don't be so hard on yourself. God is fully in control. Peace.

You are right again David. We all sin, Christians, Jews, Muslims
(although Muslims will not admit it) God is a forgiving and all loving God. And at least with us Christians and Jews, the Lion can truly lie down with the lamb. If only other lions will do the same, but unfortunately, as you and I know, these lions will only kill, lest any other than their own kind enter their territory.
So glad we Christians and Jews are friends! If only we all could be!
Blessings! Tami

All I can say is that God is rich in Grace and Mercy, and that's a good thing because if he wasn't, I would have exhausted his supply a long time ago.

Amen!
I went through almost exactly the same struggles recently - and it has disappeared from my life because others prayed for me, after I confessed it.
