Jesus is pure love.the true meaning of love is that God has loved us first and when God picks you out for salvation He places that love in you and when you are Filled with The Holy Spirit that is the same love that resurrected Jesus.Love means to give your last dollar to someone who needs it if the love that Jesus spoke about was different than the love that was used in Romans 12 v10 there would have been a different word used like caring or helpful love is love if it is true love than it is Jesus

Yes - The definition of love is the same, but the difference is that he is talking in 12:10 about loving each other within the church. That is - love within the church should be brotherly and honouring.

no, it is not the same Greek word used - in Romans 12 : 10
the word is : philidelphia- meaning brotherly love or affection- to me this means as a familial relationship as in one body- the kind of love that bears one anothers burdens and walks in agreement.
the word in Matthew is agape- suggesting a moral, unconditional love- taking care of and showing respect and love regardless of whether or not they are walking in agreement or not- showing courtesy and charity regardless of the offense

I believe that love in these passages refers to attitudes and their actions. Not the type of thing you feel when you are attracted to someone.
