What non-shedding dogs do you recommend? I was thinking a Boston Terrier. Am I on the right track? Thanks.

+ You might see if you can find a hairless Chinese Crested. I don't think you can have allergies to them.

I had a Boston Terrier once. They are very cool dogs. They do have fur though and they do shed some. My advice would be to get a poodle. There are different sizes to choose from and they don't have fur, they actually have hair like humans do.

The Standard Poodle is over 15 inches at the highest point of the shoulders.

The Miniature Poodle is 15 inches or under at the highest point of the shoulders, with a minimum height in excess of 10 inches.

The Toy Poodle is 10 inches or under at the highest point of the shoulders.

Description
Poodles are very distinctive and unique-looking dogs, easily identified by their woolly coats and long muzzles, not to mention their luxuriously big, floppy ears. You can also get miniature and toy poodles, which are again easily identified by their woolly coats and also by their very sweet, intelligent expressions. The standard poodle has a special elegance about it, and is intelligent, well built and very ‘pretty’. The coat is generally curly and dense with a deep texture. The Poodle is a lively and active dog, is very loyal and loves attention. Its coat does not shed much at all, making it the perfect pet for allergy sufferers.

You are on the right track as the Boston Terrier is such a cute dog, with short short hair, i wish i had one. However, the best option for you seen that you do not like fur etc, etc, you should go for a French Poodle or miniture Frech Poodle as they have hair like a human and does no fall out and does not affect a person with allergies, i have the same problen regarding allergies and pets and so my mom got me a french poodle. My allergies are not bad with my dog.

A poodle has hair not fur and does not shed. We have a ranch and I had a toy poodle for about 12 years. He was a very cool dog. We also had a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler The poodle was the brains and the boss. The Shepherd and the rottie were very respectful of this pint size mob boss. I use to give him a quick trim with scissors and a razor. He ran on a 15 acre ranch and sometimes I had to remove fox tails. They are very smart and not prissy if you treat them like a big dog.

i would recommend a maltese, not a terrier but a pure bred or a poodle. these dogs have hair, not fur, and do not shed. i have allergies and have maltese, they are great inside dogs and apartment dogs. no other dogs have pure hair, so a boston terrier is a very unappropriate choice for your needs in a pet.

For one thing, a poodle sheds and has to be groomed. I would recommend a terrier cuz they don't shed very much. I have a toy fox terrier and she doesn't shed hardly at all and she is very well behaved and is good with everyone.

A chinese crested is a small canine with a touch fur on the accurate section. it truly is an old looking little fellow. some canine are meant to be hypo-allergenic like westies, malamutes the various new dressmaker breeds goldendoddles, and so on.

I heard poodles are great for people who are allergic. Good luck.

I like the poodle.
I have a Standard Poodle.
Smaller than that would be a miniature.
Smaller than that would be a toy poodle.

They don't shed, so they need to be clipped. (Keep grooming costs in mind.)

Try a poodle or a greyhound. Both are hypo-allergenic!
