your stylist will also be able to figure out the color because your current color also needs to be taken into consideration.

as far as styling I think that you would want to wet your hair, blowdry only a little and then use hairspray all over including underneath and then blowdry a little more but still not all the way. This willl give you a crunchy kind of feel to your hair but will achieve the look you are after.

im not a hair person, but take these pics with you, make sure you tell them, if they cant do that to let you know BEFORE, i've heard stories where people will tell styalists what they want then afterwards the styalist makes it to short or something, then they say, it couldn't be done with the hair.
