Would that totally put you off? Personally I can't help assuming that if a person wants to have unprotected sex with me without asking me any questions at all about my history.... it means that they've likely been very careless as to where they've put their d*ck in the past and they might well be a risk. Why are guys often so keen to throw caution to the wind and risk STDs and unwanted pregnancy?

Well, right off - I would make that person an ex-partner immediately and get those fun tests we all love so much... because you're right, if he's doing it with you, 99% chance he's done it before and you have NO idea what he might be carrying... and there are some really nasty things out there.

As for why guys behave that way...

Men have two brains. One in the skull, one in the penis. When the penis enlarges, it draws blood from the brain in the skull to do so.

Once that has happened, we are no longer actually using the brains in our skull.

But more correctly, men are biologically designed to get women pregnant, and frankly the area of the brain controlling certain aggression type behaviors is lower (men as murders, men as rapists - how many women in those categories? saw a great show on it...).

So men are more likely to try risky/stupid/idiotic behavior.

Please, please, please use a condom. No matter how well you know someone you must use protection. As you may know certain STDs and STIs are much more easily contracted via anal sex. Until both of you see each other regularly and have a truly monogamous, committed relationship and both of you get tested for all the STDs, then you can consider using no protection. As for the oral sex, there are still things that can be contracted. I say use a condom for it all. If this somehow bothers your lover than either you explain to him the risks or you just don't do anything with him because if he really cares about you then the condom won't matter. Have fun though!! Take care.

Pleasure. Just it seems that most of the time females are a little more causious about catching STDs. Most man seem to think they cant be touched when it come to those things. Thats way most of the time men get mad or uncomfortable when you even bring up a conversation about AIDS. But now and days they giving out s*x like a 24 pick of pepsi. Be smart bout your life cause when he leaves it's just going to be you there no one else can go threw that battle for you but you.

Thousands of years of evolution. It's called 'sex drive', and it is powerful to the point that defies your rationality. As a female, you should be very cautious about that, because a male in general will throw caution to the wind in order to have sex, its primitive, its careless, and its true.

because men think from point A to point B-
Point A: im horny
Point B: Im getting laid

There are men out there that care, and those are the ones that are better to sleep with, but you also have to keep in mind that just because they are using a condom this time, they might have caught something and that is why- it is so scary out there!

I always ask about history and if the guy is uncomfortable talking about it, I know to not have sex with him- or if I feel he isnt giving me details like I want, ie protection, tests, I dont care about number or who, just the tech stuff ya know?

Just remember- no glove, no love, its their choice, just because your naked infront of him does not mean you HAVE to have sex, if he is not willing to strap one on, get dressed and leave.

This guy must not be that responsible. He could be carrying STDs and spreading them to you if you let him have sex with you. Before I have sex with a new partner, I know my partner's sexual history and I make them go for a HIV/STDs screening.

Most guys tend to think with the head on their penis rather than the head on their shoulders.

And YES it is a big turn OFF and Ya just gotta say "NO" to idiots like that.

I would be very uneasy about having unprotected sex with someone
without first discussing or knowing something about their sexual history...

Then they are nasty and do not care about themselves very much. In turn there is no way they could care about you, sounds like a dumb loser to me. Maybe my standards are just set higher though but i wouldn't sleep with a woman like that, ever.
