Im not trying to put you down or anything, but i don't think this is the best place to get advice about moral issues. Getting talked into going against your conscience is not a good thing at all. Let your conscience be your guide; it's there for a reason. Don't worry about peoples' opinions if you think you know what's right.

Tell us why you feel guilty, you'll get better answers. Though I would say, if you feel guilty at all, then yes, you should slow down or stop. I'll give you a better answer if you finish your question though :)

If you feel guilty about something then you shouldn't be doing it. If you find it hard to stop this, you should get some counseling or stop seeing her.
