what a great question! i belive religion is a man made thing. if you step back and look at them all, they all kind of resemble... i think that they are moral codes to live by, and some people who cant follow their own morals need that, so they arent bad. i believe in a "higer power" there is no concrete evidence of a "higher power" but i know there is one and that we didnt just evolve from monkeys. i grew up in a baptist home and was taught to think that way... it wasnt until i was 18 that i really sat down and asked myself, do you really belive all this, or where you just taught to believe this... then i sat down and thought about everything. the bible was written by man, not god... why base your life around it? my "God" doesnt care about tattoos or piercings.. he loves me as long as i love him and live a life that is good and not to harm others, and my afterlive will be just as good... thats one of my latest questionings... heaven and hell... im not sure if i believe that either. i mean, what better way to try to scare someone into living the way you want them to than by saying, if you do, you go to this beautiful place of happiness or if you dont you go to this terriable place of pain and suffering. i think that our souls just kinda go to like a different demention, and depending on how you lived your life on earth, you will reap and equal on thereafter! sorry this was so long, but you asked me!

Well, I believe in the soul. The small of a woman's back. The hanging curve ball. High fiber. Good scotch. That the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a Constitution Amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas eve. And I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days...I believe I LOVE that quote from Bull Durham, the best baseball movie ever...

I believe that God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all of our sins and then he was raised again on the third day, and by this we can have the hope of salvation and the joy of living forever and eternally in Heaven with God! :)
