left half finished beer out for too long and beans came out???

i left half a cold shot on the counter about over a week ago and forgot about it, when i poured it out today a crapload of beans (i don't know what kind, don't ask) came out, could that happen or did someone just put them in the can (which would be unlikely)?

It seems extremely unlikely that the alcohol turned into beans... it would just evaporate like any liquid.
