I am kinda pissed right now, but I cant understand why a mother would have to force her child kicking and screaming to see the father when the child. Doesnt want to? My question is if the child doesnt want to go to the other parents house, does the child have to go? (Yes there is a court order,) (but) if the judge or who ever was told that the child freaks out everytime the child is dropped off and begs the parent not to leave them, would or can he make it so the child doesnt have to go?

Its my niece so I dont know all the details, but my sister asked me to drop her off because she couldnt do it. She crys her eyeballs out everytime she has to drop her daughter off. I thought that she was over exagerating about how the baby acted but she begged and begged and tried to get outta the car and run. I had to litterally rip her off my body and had her screaming at the top of her lungs still trying to get to me. She is only three and she wont tell anyone what happens at her dad's but she does occasionally come home with injuries. Twice with her arm dislocated.

The state is Colorado is there anyway my sister can make the father just come and visit the baby at her house? That was how they did it before there was a court order. My niece is scared of her dad unless there is someone else in the room with them. Does this little girl have to go through this for the next 10-15 years or is there some way for my sister to stop the baby from going over there?

In PA you can petition the courts at the age of 13 & the child can make a choice of who they want to live with. If they choose to not see the parent, they don't have to. I don't know about the laws in other states.

I would enlist help from my Pediatrician. Your sister should schedule an appointment very soon, preferably for the day the little girl is at Dad's. She should tell him what's gonig on. The doctor can do a full examination and if he suspects abuse he is a "mandatory reporter" and must inform Child Protective Services. I'm sure he would also tell them that it was the mother who brought her in and suspected abuse. The authorities would not likely suspect your sister of any wrong donig at that point, though they would probably have to investigate her as a formality. When she calls to make the appointment she should tell the scheduler why she wants the appointment. I'm sure they would accomodate her by getting her in ASAP.

depends on the childs age and why the child does not want to go. whats going on over there? if it is a court order then the baby has to go. it doesnt matter if the baby kicks and screams the baby has to go and the mother or father or whoever has to follow the court order. it is the law and written in ink. you need to find out why the child doesnt want to go over there. good luck.
