Its on her tail, underneath, all over her butt. I tried to giver her a "bath" we just have a shower and not a tub. So it was just about impossible. I got out as much as I could but theres still some stuck and shes getting it all over my house plus she seems so uncomfortable. What can I do?

Hopefully your dog is well trained and will obey you because you need to buy a tub at the hardware store or some other largish container she can park her backside in while you give her a butt bath, you might have to let her soak for a little while to loosen up the dried on stuff. Have a pair of scissors handy for those gobs you cannot wash off (you'll have to snip them off). Make sure the water is warm but not hot, make sure you rinse all the soap off and dry her off well before letting her go outside if it's cold where you are. If she's had diarrhea, you might have to do this again. And if this keeps happening, you might have to trim her back there so her poop doesn't continue to catch on her fur.

Fill up the tub using the shower and put her in the tub. Put her dog shampoo on her and give her a bath. When your ready to rinse the soap out empty the soapy water out and re-fill the tub with clean water from the shower and rinse out the soap.

How do you have a dog and no tub.Dogs dont like water in their face.I hope you rinsed all the soap out & dont use soap on the face. You will have to get a bucket & wash clothe & get busy.A little doggie soap or shampoo in the water then wipe the dog clean & rinse with fresh clean warm but not too warm water.Dry dog with towel.After the dog dries completely,,You may want to carefully trim her hair with scissors.If you cant do this,,I strongly suggest a groomer regularly.

Aside from cleaning her off (put her back in the shower and use a wash cloth lathered with dish soap to help scrub her booty) - you need to find out why she had diahrea. A trip to the vet may be in order to help ease her tummy. Don't let her have diarhea more than 24 hours without seeing a vet as she will become dehydrated.

My dog has done this before. It usually happens when she is constipated. You just have to get her in the bath and get it off. I usually keep some gloves around for this occasion. She will feel much better when it's off! Good luck!

wear latex gloves or something like that and then get paper towels or an actual towel that is wet and start picking them off or rubbing them off. it wont matter that much because you have gloves on. if it still seems to be a problem, maybe you should contact the vet to do something about it

My mother calls this; "Dirty Britches". You just have to get her in the tub and soak it until it come off. All you can do, unless you just wait until it deteriorate off. You may take some scissors and cut that part of the hair if you can.

try to clean her up as best as you can then take her to a groomer for a sanitary clip..they shave a bit around the butt and part of her underside.so that hair does not catch the poo.
