A special trick..you need to get a shampoo that has a high percentage of alcohol in it (i.e. cheap shampoos) but, also keep in mind that you will need to keep it very deeply conditioned! i.e. v-O5 hot oil treatment at least once a week. Good Luck!

Beware: lemon juice and even Sun-In will cause your hair to turn orange or red if it's even medium brown. Stick to the professional stuff! There are lots of reasonably priced dyes on the market that do a good job. As long as you stay within two shades of your natural color, it will look fine, and be a lot healthier for your hair. It also doesn't hurt to deep-condition it soon afterwards. Lemon juice will not only make your hair orange, but very dry and brittle as well. Best of luck!

The sun will lighten the hair and if you just got it done then its going to be dark. But the hair will fade especially if you dont use color treated shampoo. The color you see after getting your hair color isnt going to stay that way.

Color wil not remove color, so bleach is the only way to go. However, you will not want to try this process at home, there are a lot of factors to consider, is the hair previously relaxed/ permed, colored, was it in good condition to begin with? Before you end up with no hair for Christmas, you may want to consult a pro.

Washing your hair in the hottest water you can stand will help the color fade faster, although it won't completely lighten it immediately.

You can also purchase products that remove the dye from your hair. I can't think of the names, but I've seen them at Wal-Mart and most beauty supply stores have them.

If you just died it and its way too dark maybe wait it out a few days to see if it fades....it usually does...i'd try some clarifying shampoo if your hair is in good condition, it might help any leftover die wash out quicker....if it's recent dont do anything too soon!!

you are just going to have to wait a week or 2 of washing it for it to fade.....other than that the only quick fix is more dye...you could try highlights instead of all over colour if thats better...
