My husbands arm pulsates every so often. Sometimes its his right arm sometimes it is his left arm He says it does not hurt but I can see his arm pulsating.can anyone tell me what is going on and why it is doing this.It only happens once in a while.

It sounds like a simple muscle spasm. It is completely benign. It can occur because a small muscle was overstimulated, or stretched a little more than usual sometime earlier in the day. I will usually go away within 15-30 minutes. Sometimes massaging the muscle will help.

I get these all the time myself, often one of the small muscles in the top of one of my legs. It's annoying, by harmless.

I would have your husband see a doctor for a check up. Its probably just blood pulsing through his arm.

Could be some sort of muscular, venous or arterial spasm. I tend to think it is of circulating origin. Wouldn't hurt to have an physician check him out.

it is not steady,it comes and goes
