It helps a little bit. Not enough to make a huge difference though.

Try considering breast reduction surgery (usually covered by insurance).

I went from a 38J to a 38C in Feb '06 (insurance covered all of it) and feel great

Since most breast tissue is fat, plain old cardio and other exercises to lose weight are the best. Reduce your caloric intake by about 500 calories a day (cut out about a Mcdonalds cheesburger and small fries), and start walking, jogging or biking for starters, and try to incorporate some weight training to tone up the rest of your body. If you increase your muscle mass, it will boost your metabolism, so you will burn off even more fat. Try starting cardio with 15 minutes on, a 5-10 minute break and then 15 minutes on again for the first couple weeks. Gradually push yourself harder and increase time as you begin to feel more fit. If not, start walking 20 minutes a day 3x per week, then increase it to 4x per week, then add time to each walk. Good weight loss is a slow process, and there are no quick fixes if you want to keep the weight off.

If you happen to be a naturally busty woman, and are on the slim side, there aren't really any exercises you can do to specifcally target mammary loss, it will have to come off as fat, or you'll have to get a reduction, because no exercise will eliminate breast tissue that is not fat. Everyone naturally stores fat differently, so your breasts may be your final fat reserve, and the rest of your body will lose fat before your breasts do.

I have never heard of a specific exercise reducing breast size but losing weight over all can make them a little smaller as well. If they are causing back pain or make you feel uncomfortable because of their size I would look into a reduction. I had a friend who was 5'4" with your size breasts and had a reduction because she had a small frame and these huge boobs and now she is happy with the way her body looks.

Cupidgirl is correct.

Losing weight overall will reduce breast size, but not in proportion to the rest of you. Breast tissue is mostly adipose tissue (fat), but it is also other tissue associated with it's primary function of suckling a baby.

Surgical breast reduction may be your only really viable alternative.

Sorry if that's bad news.

well, if you are in need of losing weight in general, you'll lose some in your breasts along with the rest of your body, if you diet and exercise in general. But there isn't a way to reduce breast size alone through exercises.

Generally speaking no, exercise will build the muscle behind the breasts and actually make them appear larger. If losing weight doesn't help then you may have to look into breast reduction.

try LOTS of cardio....the breast tissue is typically quite a bit of fat tissue (esp. if you are overweight)... join a gym, and eat right...boobs should get smaller, somewhat
