Life is full of disappointment - you need to get used to it. The best way to do this is not dwell on it. Do you work anywhere? Do you have activities outside the home like volunteer work? Maybe you could help some elderly person. If I wallow in my disappointment, I get down so low that I can't get back up. So, get out and get involved to take your mind off of the people around you who disappoint you. You may just find out that by plunging yourself into something, you won't have time to feel sorry for yourself, and the thoughts of disappointment will be greatly diminished if not eliminated. Good luck - depression is no fun for anyone.

I feel this way every now and then also. I just do things that I enjoy doing to keep me from dwelling on the disappointments cause believe it or not life is full of them and if you let it get to you it will keep you down. One thing I enjoy doing is helping people cause it makes you feel really good inside. And it also makes you feel important. I also have a motto for myself "If you want it done, do it yourself." That way I won't have to deal with some of life's little disappointments.

If this is really bothering you, you should seek therapy. Not being able to trust anybody will make you lonely eventually. Have you been expecting too much from them? Did they betray you? Talking to somebody who is trained will help you deal. You shouldn't go through this alone.

If you continue to feel these feelings, they can develop into a real psychological problem and depression. Maybe you need a vacation.
