it has a strong effect both mentally and emotionally to a child.negligence is of different things..even a child from a rich family can suffer from negligence. let's say if the rich parents are too caught up with their own business or transactions, unintentionally neglecting the child, the latter is emotionally deprived.even if the main intention is to work hard to provide a better if not the best way of life to the child, there are still some drawbacks.
the child's personality is greatly affected.he/she will have a strong inclination of either drawing away or isolate from society into a comfort niche they created themselves and or be a deviant of society, who rebels to get attention.
children, especially at a very young age, are emotionally and psychologically fragile, who needs a lot of tending.having quality, and i mean quality time everyday, would mean a lot to the child.
it's what happens at home that affects greatly the kind of person any child would be in the future.

This is very sad. Parents who do not care and just do the minimum for their children or let them run wild send the message "you are not worth my time. I have more important things to do. Go do what you want and leave me alone."
People who have these types of parents probably will always struggle with low self-esteem and feelings of worthlessness. It might be hard for them to think of themselves as lovable or likeable. It might be hard for them to even think of themselves as capable or acceptable.
This is very sad!
