Can someone give me ideas on what to get him for christmas. He is very smart for his age. He has all the video systems except the models for this year and he beats everyone playing them. He has a new dell and alot of toys. I'm just trying to think of something different for this year. I love this boy dearly and he knows it and he is polite and gets good grades and he is NOT a brat. When we go to the store he doesn't even ask for things and I know it's hard at his age. He is such a good boy and he deserves a good christmas. Anyone have any ideas??????

Get someone to dress up like santa!! and suprise him! also buy him lots of gifts! It can be little not even expensive and wrap them all up individually-- that way he will feel extra special when he sees a whole bunch of gifts for him! also make him his favorite food with lots of cookies!

Maybe you & him could put up the tree together do some baking together & make him feel as if he is really special do things that he would want to do & do it with him. I know thats what my bf does with our som & he absolutly loves it. They do they christmas tree,do malls, skateparks, & everything that boys like doing & its all the our sons choice my bf just goes along with him to make it more special. They call it 'boy time'

Try going away with him on vacation for a weekend or a few days & yeah. Make him feel as if he is the greatest & show him how much you appriciatte him

Maybe this is the year you and he help or volunteer for someone else (a child or a senior citizen) who doesn't have much. The village hall, the library, the chamber of commerce, or one of the area churches will be glad to give you a name or say what is needed and will deliver that in your name. The two of you can made cookies or go shopping for wished-for gifts. Giving to someone else is the best kind of gift for yourself.

Maybe instead of items, give him memories. Plan a superb vacation that you go on together. Take pictures and video. He will cherish the time he spends with you more than the toys.

You could also plan a service project to do together. You could do the 12 days of Christmas for a family in need. You could plan it together, thus spending time with him.

What does he want? All 6 year olds know exactly what they want. Have him give you a list and then you pick one or two off the list. This way he's still surprised.

Whatever you get him, I wish you both a Very Merry Christmas.

you can discuss with him, but indirectly, then you would know what he want. and it's important that child and parents need to exchange the ideas.
