This is a very good question. Satan does on occasion go natural as it were but for the most part he wears clothes. I saw him today and he was wearing blue checked bermuda shorts, a white tshirt and sandals. He was smoking a cigar and complaining about the war in Iraq. He is staying at a nice hotel in LA for the rest of December and then he is off to Australia for an indefinite period.

That's a good question. Just a guess here but I think if he's taking human form to try to tempt some poor unsuspecting soul that he'll be dressed in clothes but if he's taking the form of an animal (snake in the garden) that he won't.
Honest, the Bible says that he was the light bearer so he's not going to look like some dark twisted demon, as much as we might wish it were true, he would be easier to spot that way.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

how do you know that satan is he/ or she? If you know that it is He then why didn't you try to find out that what he wears?
Anyway i know one thing that a man doesn't have to much power to see the satan with open eyes. Whenever i used to meditate i teacher always told me to be prepare for what you see while meditating and just don't fear and you will cross the first level and i asked how about second level, my teacher said that then something else which is more powerful come to intrupt your meditation. Just be ready..
It could be lights, sounds, rays, or something like sensation the funny thing here is that it can touch you but you can't. So you see once you understand the philosphy of mind the satan become comon thing for you but you got to get into yourself and later you will see that it is the other you who is satan

Personally i think that Satan does not wear clothes then it would defeat the purpose of being in hell.

The Great Morning Star needs no clothing. Lucifer is the most beautiful of the angels. He needs none of our confining human creations.

Haven't you seen the tight little red leotard outfit he sports around? Put a slavic hairline and a hooked nose on him and now you can see the devil in him. Ever notice how almost all representations of the devil look like he is Jewish?
