Because people like me who are actually from America know that people in India dont speak the best English in the world! So, I suppose it gives them a superiority feeling when they do that...u noe it makes them feel good!

Hey:
First of all I am not from India only my great great grandparents are but I still consider India my homeland!America is a dream for any country with over population and its natural for anyone to adopt their adoptive country language and sytle.
Secondly,I am not in India but I still act as an Indian and I am proud of it,what do Americans have to be proud of?and Indians donot?
Thirdly, Americans pick on Indians and they forgot that countries like Africa are worse off but they never point fingers at the africans who are in need!Its so hpyrocritical!
Fourthly,I would say that its Americans who adopt and behave like Indians they have stuff like"
(1) soul-mate: its hinduism that believes in soul and karma
(2)yoga:again hindi stuff
(3)meditation:again Indian
(4)astrology:did I say Indian?
These are just a few adoptive Indian stuff by Americans!
Its not America that is bad and racial...its some of her spoilt brats!

let me give you the bitter pill.
First of all, I am an Indian. When I come to yahoo answers I am still an Indian. When I answer I am still an Indian.
But you know what, when you read my answers, you read them in English not in Hindi or any other Indian language. So, your first image about my answer is ... biased .. and you think I answer like American.
Secondly, Yahoo answer is a place where you can come up with your honest opinion about the question, do you guys let the women speak her heart at home? No. At least most of you don't. I think, that is not the only case with women, any right opinion for that matter. You don't let people talk what they think. So most of your Indian brethren prefer to speak here their heart. When they speak their free mind, it sounds like they talk like Americans. (Of course Americans speak their heart just bold and plain, It is a good virtue every Indian should imitate - not all the other craps)
So my lovely friend, be an Indian and be bold enough to hear the truth from fellow men and especially women.
You'll be far better than any American!!

Because they are not indians and not americans they come in the middle of this two countries,they want follow american culture.they will always having doubt that which culture to follow.and they mix both and land up with a confusion.

I assume you are speaking of Indians from India, dots not feathers. If that is the case, they are English speakers...so...they answer in English.
If you are speaking about Native Americans, well, they are the first Americans, so it follows....
I think you are actually expressing frustration at being unsure if someone is living in America or not.
Am I in India? Or Florida? or Germany.
who knows.

I think they look up to Americans as supernatural beings, they are in real awe of America and everybody wants to grab a slice of this grand, tasty piece of american culture.I wish they could be Indians and proud of it.

then my friend, everyone (irrespective of nationality) finds it easier and will follow it all-time.
if you mean by the pictures used as avatars,
then there arent much options available in yahoo
