the whole he's not into you book...wow. it hit home. but why cant i believe what it says? there is a guy i have liked for quite sometime. i work with him. he would have asked me out if he didnt have a girlfriend he said a few times before. but now he is single, knows i am available and is not pursuing me. but, he seems to get jealous when i talk about other guys. i do make it a point to tell him about other guys or to hint i dont date those i work with. its really a ploy to test him....so...whats up you think?

I think the book is right on. If he was interested in you,he would ask you out. Some people enjoy meaningless flirtations to boost their egos or to boost yours. If he wanted you he wouldn't need hints that your available. Move on. You can't make someone like you. You are playing mind games with yourself. Our actions and motive are not this mysterious. Good luck! Merry Christ'mas!

The book is spot on. As for him being jealous, it is a sign he is interested but you are putting him in a position where if he does anything he is not respecting your rules of work relationships. How about being a little more transparent and real before someone else gets his attention and your left alone with your little tests...?

I am sure he took your little "I dont date those i work with" seriously...its a recipe for disaster dating someone you work with. I have done it and its not pretty. Since he is not pursuing you he might have the same standards: he doesn't date someone he works with. Stay friends you will be better off.
