theres this girl in my 1st period. shes really quiet and shy and never says a thing and looks REALLY beautiful. im a senior and shes a sophmore. to be honest, because shes so quiet, i never really took much notice of her until the past few days; in which case i just asked her for notes on what i missed on the 2 days i was out. she seemed very sweet. the problem is that i have the rest of this week and then 3 days next week b4 i get off for holiday break. should i ask her for her number, what should i do?

Yes, I think you should ask her if she would like to do something after school or on the weekend. And if she says yes, then you will get her number. She may have issues with the age difference but maybe not, everyone is different. I say go for it!

Well you have an in with her in the sense you asked her for help and she responded by giving you her notes on what you missed. use that as an opportunity and go back when you see her and say thanks alot Debbie for the notes really made a difference for me . I would like to take you out for dinner or maybe we can do lunch sometime and see what she says.

I'm one of the quiet girls, but I'd give you my number if you asked.
Don't expect it to be a sign of returned attraction, though.
And chances have it you're going to have to be the one who starts the calling--but don't sweat it. Even the quiet ones will open up. We just need some motivation sometimes.
