because i think people forget the most simple rule;
TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF!,..

and they don't take the extra effort to reach out, I am a Christian, from the Roman Catholic Church. I have a bestfriend who's a Muslim. Have relatives who converted to be a Born Again Christian. We have buddhas at home because of the chinese line. But all those doesn't matter. Being a Christian means to be Christ-like. He already is living within us, thus we can work within ourselves to respect and love each other. What good will me being a Christian be if i don't get along with the people that surrounds me?

No, we can't get along. Religion is about feeling good about others going to hell! Although Religion encourages good morals within a group, its teaches inhumane things to other groups and especially followers of other religions. Without Religion, that's when we can start to realize that we are all humans, and not divided into rival groups.

Jesus loves everyone. He demonstrated this when He walked among us. I believe that it is the love of Christ that will win others to the truth of the Good News He lived and died to bring to us.

I struggle because it seems as if everyone except Christians have a right to their beliefs. I do not have to impose my views on others but I do hope to win others to a relationship with Jesus. Like you, I would love to see all people walk with understanding and grace towards each other.

There really isn't much that is true behind most religions.

People should be judged for whether they are right or wrong, and as it turns out, religious believers are wrong. That doesn't make them worse as people, but it does mean that they're simply wrong about what are, for many of them, core beliefs.

Amen sister! Let's hear it for live and let live. None of us will be judged for the actions of another - and there is no religious leader in our holy books that wouldn't frown on the hatred, meaness and violence carried out in the name of God and religion here on earth. We are all children of God - not divided into teams based upon how we most feel comfortable expressing our individual spirituality. This kind of behavior is particularly distasteful here in America - the land of freedom.

Fortunately, I think a new day is dawning here on planet Earth and I think tolerance, respect and unity are making an impact on the population. It's an exciting time to be alive - let's all do what we can to usher in the new era quickly and peacefully.

Peace!

My Dear Damon's baby girl,
We all may never get along BUT
we all can AGREE to DISAGREE. That is respect for each other.
Besides, can you imagine if we were all the same in every way...it would be a pretty boring place...Diversity is a good thing!
Peace!

I don't know. It's not like telling a person their religion is wrong and arguing with them about is going to give them a better view of said religion.

Because until Christ returns there will be no peace on earth; Christianity is a threat to the principalities of darkness and they won't rest until Christ comes back.
