+ see the whole range in your question and the answers with one exception which is from North America's longest continuously operating brewery. That would be Ying Ling from Pennsylvania. Although it is not my absolute favorite (I make my own) it has to be mentioned as a really good off the shelf beer.

OMG, I just picked up from Top Shelf Liquors, a wine bottle of Brown Goose Ale from Goose Island, Chicago aged in used bourbon barrels with an alcohol content of 8%. After tasting this one I sent my wife back for the Imperial IPA 9% alcohol, and the Demolition Ale which is 8%.Talk about good all the way around. In addition, a Bourbon County Stout and a Belgian style are also available in 12oz bottles. Goose Island is the mecca for beer making in the Chicago area,

One of my favorites is the Berkshire Brewing Company's Coffehouse Porter. It's half coffee, half porter and 100% delicious. Another bood beer by the same company is a Scotch Ale aged in Jim Beam barrels, amazing and deadly.

I've started to like white beers lately, especially Hoegaarden from Belgium and the varieties of Hefeweizens from Germany.

San Miguel from the Philippines. Strong and tasty stuff!!
Blatz beer is also good because it gives you a happy drunk, and no hangover.
Budweiser may be the king of beers, but I'm the king of beer drinkers!!
