How to create shortcut for other programs in "RUN"(Start->Run) in windows. Like if we type "Winword" the office gets executed OR "notepad" where notepad pops out. Likewise can we create shortcut for other programs which i like?? Solution Please

Go to "Run", and type (copy&paste) this, "%windir%" without the quotes. This should open a foilder in the windows explorer. DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING HERE! Now find the program you want a shortcut to (can be in the programs menu, or on your hard drive). Right-click-drag from the program's icon to the folder that just opened in the first step. You can rename it whatever you want. Close the window, and the shortcut should work from the run menu now
