crazy man at school?

its a guy at my school that whenever im by myself he has a blank stare no smile, just nonchalant stare. i dont like it. he does it when he's around females and when he's by himself. he never says anything, but in public he speaks to me all the time that makes me confused. i havent conversed with him before.
