I think I'll have to go with the XM8, the new gun.. Because it looks so futuristic, yet I doubt that this gun is good as its looks... Since the Army rejected this weapon because it wasn't much improvement over the M4 or M16...

But I could also take the M4 if I was in Infantry or Special Ops, because overall it has range and CQB capabilities and it's also pretty accurate.. And it also looks damn cool but isn't as big as the M16A2 or 3.

Or maybe the Barret sniper rifle (I forgot the type) if I was a sniper, because well it uses 50 caliber (Is that a good thing for the enemy?) it's used by the US Army Special Forces ("Green Berets") and it has a muzzle break along with a recoil stopper, so you can fire about 10 rounds under 10 seconds without having your shoulder feel like it's been hit by a brick.

I don't know THAT much about weapons tho...
Oh yeah I'm talking about in combat, not like cleaning my house and such.. Like in Iraq or Afghan.

In handguns, I would choose the Glock Model 23 in .40 S&W caliber, and my second choice is the Colt Govt. Model 1911A1 in .45 ACP caliber. These are the most tried and true hand weapons available.

Depends on the situation. If I'm clearing my house with the kids in their beds , then a med. cap 9mm with glaser safety slugs is nice! If I'm clearing a valley that's 300 meters wide and 2400 meters long then an M-1 garand with a high powerscope is just perfect! Hey maybe I'm in an alley outside my store and ther'es five jerks with pistols, then a 7 shot 12 guage pump with a ghost site would be realy nice-! I guess that if you are very lucky then whatever weapon you have may be the weapon you need in whatever situation you find yourself in-but wherever you find yourself, may you go with god!-good luck!

When I was deployed, my weapon of choice was the M4 Carbine with a M 203 grenade launcher. It is good for every situation and accurate.

I like knives. A Vietnam vet taught me how to throw them in the real military sense. It's one of the coolest talents I have. I'm also a dead on shot with a gun, too. I inherited an AR-15 from my Dad. It's a real beauty.
