From the glare off a pool?
I have been outside in the pool, but before I return for another swim I want to know if a hat is good enough or will the glare from the sun on the water reflect up and burn my face?

Not only from the glare, but you can also tan while swimming. Just use SPF and try to facing away from the pool or at least a little bit back from it.

Yes you can get burnt from glare off a pool, water acts like a sun bathing mirror refracting the light of the sun on your skin. Wear at least SPF 15 sunblock and the hat.

Yes it happens... and no, a hat may not be enough to stop the glare from burning your face... when the sun shines on the water, it sends a reflection up and if your face so happens to be in the way, you'll probably end with some sun burn... use sun-block and if you get a little burned, try iced milk on your face... it really helps with the pain...
