I am a vegetarian. I'm not happy about people killing animals but it mostly bothers me if the animals suffer. If it's fast and virtually pain free, I can deal with it a little better. I'd be happier if everyone was vegetarian but it's never going to happen so I don't really bother people about it unless I know they are supporting something particularly inhumane.
I'll accept that some people kill for sport because I grew up next door to people who went hunting every weekend. They butchered the deer in their garage and froze all the meat in a huge cooler. They used the fat and bones in homemade dog food. They mounted the head on the wall. They even used the hides for weird home decorations sometimes. Sometimes the deer population gets out of control and the deer end up starving during the winter or getting hit by cars. I'd rather they shoot a deer and use it rather than find out they are starving to death in the woods.

I believe that killing/hunting animals for sport is wrong. This is the reason why I don't eat deer meat; I don't see how killing an innocent animal just for the heck of it could be fun; it's sic. On the other hand hunting/domesticating for sustenance doesn't bother me; to me no cruelty was involved. It may not make sense to you, but it does to me.

It depends on "why" the animal is killed. I don't support the sensless slaughter of animals for sport. However, I don't have a problem with killing an animal for the honest use of its meat and hide.
Cruelty is never ok. The animal being harvested should always be treated humanely up to the point of death.

My father grew up eating mostly wild game. When he raised me, about one third of my diet was wild game. I have no problems eating meat. If I lived in the country, I would happily hunt for my food. In fact, I would see it as a religious experience as well as a necessity. Killing animals for food is the basic way of life that I grew up with.
I have no problems with vegetarians. They eat very healthy. I live and let live. And eat meat.

i think that it depends on why one is killing an animal.
if a person kills it for fun, that is WRONG!
but if it is for survival, it's okay.
overkilling, however, is immoral.
think about it, no matter what, animals are being killed for food.
meat spoils unless we eat it, so the reason why the animal being killed is wasted because spoiled meat goes in the trash. if a vegetarian eats meat, they are fulfilling that animal's purpose when it was killed.
i'm not against vegetarians. i respect them. but i just dont get them.

vegetarian = old slang term for the village idiot who can't hunt.
You might want to learn to spell it if you are going to be posting it everywhere.
