NO, Wahhabi is the wrong nickname/mimicking of Muhammad Abdul Wahhab. He followed the correct teachings of the Prophet Muhammah sallahu alayhe wa sallam and people did not like this so they started calling the people who were like him Wahhabis, which is wrong. Its just like how they do Salafi's. This shouldnt be so because all muslims are supposed to follow the correct dawah tus salafiyyah and when they do they suddenly get the nickname salafi's??

In general, Wahaabi is a term used for the sect of Muslim people who do not follow the four Imams.

It is from this group that many of the Sunni terrorists in Saudi Arabia spring forth from....Al Queda is a Wahaabi-influencd group...that should tell you much

Wahhabbism is a radically conservative version of Islam with strict literal readings of the Quaran and selected commentaries of it. They are so intolerant that any other version of Islam is considered as evil as Christians, Jews, or atheists.
