Why or why not and what would be some concerns, fears, etc of yours?

I'm not sure.

I know a lot of guys deal with this, as I've always had tons of male friends and am close with my brother. Men can be intimidated, and basically because they're almost always expected to make the first move, put more importance on looks (like first appearance and impression).

I think there are plenty of women who at some point felt that their boyfriend or date was better looking than them. All of the women who say they've never felt this way are either too embarassed to admit it, or too stuck up.

It is, however, extremely unimportant. When i first started dating my fiance I thought he was much more handsome than I was pretty. After I got to know him, (and he told me I was beautiful all the time), I forgot.

I think living with him, and most definetly smelling morning breath, changed everything.

All in all, theres no reason for anyone to feel intimidated, or feel BETTER looking than anyone elses - at the end of the day, all **** stinks!

Yes; however beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you are concerned with who is better looking... you may want to reconsider if you are ready to date. I say this with the most sincerity. Being better looking or not so good looking is such a small part of a relationship between 2 people. This is where age plays a major part, if you are in hs, then it may make more sense; however if you are a college graduate or past the early 20's then who looks better than who is a little frightening. I prefer to date people who have wit and are engaging, interesting people... but that may just come with age.
Be more concerned with how the person treats you and how you feel when you are around them.
Best of luck to you!
Claire

I have no concerns at all dating a guy who is better looking than me. It makes me feel good when other girls look at him, but when were out or alone he gives me all his attention!

i would be fine with it, the only reason i can see a girl not being okay with it is that she is very insecure herself or she just didnt like the guy for who he was, i would so do it i would just have to find a guy better looking than me and it is very important that he was a nice guy as well, looks wont carry you all the way through life.

I never date men who are better looking than me. I've always preferred guys who are generally overlooked by other women. Guys who are too hot annoy the living crap out of me.

I have dated some really handsome men, however, I myself being a formal model at one time. So I was never intimidated by their handsome looks. And really what counts is the character and personality behind the appearance. God bless****

yeah if thats possible. jk
i go for the funny guy before the really hot guy because hottness doesn't equal a great date or friend.
but if a cute guy asked me out on a date i'm not turning him down.

i'm coping with that as we talk. I met a good guy on-line who I were chatting to for a even as. he's sensible, effectual, humorous, non secular. each and everything replaced into large till i determined I might want to ensure his image. properly, there replaced into the capture. Now i imagine otherwise and that i will't get previous that. i'm truly not a "my guy must be warm" type of female, yet i imagine actual charm is component to the kit. you do not opt for to be insulting the guy including your lack of pastime in his body. a twin of female opt for to be felt suited, so do adult males.
