Of Course Get The Genuine XP. You Cant Install Service Pack OR Update Internet Explorer Etc. Etc. Unless You Have The Genuine Windows. Buy Windows.

The same happened to my pc, you can either buy a genuine xp, or else you can erase your current xp and instal it again (time consuming, as well as you will have to instal majority of programs again).
Otherwise, you can go to the add/remove programs tab in the control panel and remove IE7. It should help...

go to Control Panel>Add/Remove programs >
click on IE7 >Remove
restart.

you need to change ur windows xp key to an original one and then update to IE7......

Simple either u buy Original xp cd n install it or
just use IE 6.0 . What is need of IE 7 yaaar i cant understand or use mozilla browser or netscape navigator . ok.
