about 13 hours later. It should be fine to eat, right? Or has it been left out too long?

It's probably fine: after all, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches can go all day without being refrigerated.

However, there's also a side of me that says, "Better safe than sorry." A jar of jelly costs a whole lot less than a hospital stay for food poisoning.

As they say, "When in doubt, throw it out."

My husband is not dead yet and he leaves the jelly out for a day or more. I sometimes do not see it til the next day! It is absolutely fine as long as it is refrigerated now! Good luck!

Don't worry it's still fine. Jelly has a pretty long shelf life.

It should be just fine. When they make jelly they have people like us, who do such things, in mind.
