Today I checked my mailbox and I looked through stuff that I usually would throw away w/out thinking twice and found this car ad that had a "scratch and win" thingy on the back of it so I kept scratching it with my penny until it said that I won 4 grand and it had a confirmation code and a number that i was supposed to call if I won. I was so happy until I called my mom and she told me that it was a scam and that it was probably 4 grand off of one the cars they were selling. I don't want to believe this so could u tell me what u think it is?

It obviously worked. It's a marketing tactic called INVOLVEMENT.
Through the process of involvement, the client is more likely to buy.
