So why would it be so hard for you to check in with your po? Its hard to believe that you would stay out of trouble if you moved to another state. Because by moving to another state you would be IN trouble. Come on, take responsibility for yourself & do what's right for a change. I would hope that they would hunt you down & return you to prison if you moved without telling your po.

Let me give you an example from a couple of years ago.
Virgina sent officers to New York to arrest a man who had been arrested there for drunk driving. Over 30 years previously, he had walked away from a "work gang" in Virginia. When he left the work gang, he had less than a year to serve.
When they brought him back to Virginia, he was to serve the balance of the time left on his original sentence (over 30 years ago) and new time added for escaping.
For 30 years he had wonder when there would be a knock on the door and he would be picked up. Or, had he gotten away with it?
People who "walk away" are saying to the system "you cannot get me". When this happens, the system will put a lot of resources into their chase to make an example of the runaway.
I worked 10 years for the Dept of Corrections as a computer person. Each state has access to databases on every person in the country (entire USA, not just a state) who drives a vehicle, owns a car, has a job, etc - that is searched for missing offenders. And this database, also identifies all of your relatives and neighbors for every place you have ever lived.

OK look at it this way IF its for a minor thing then suck it up and finish it all off, IF the charge / offense was major then of course they are going to look for you BUT either way a simple traffic stop once out of state can become a MAJOR problem from a very minor thing that was down in Florida...........truly is it worth it the state of having to live life looking over your shoulder.....plus you would be AMAZED at the jobs that actual do a back ground check on you, and this would surely pop up.

They would not have the resources to waste on you unless you are a murderer or something. It is unfortunate but true. However, don't get caught because you will be in serious trouble if you did. This includes applying for a job that requires a background check, applying for school, being pulled over, etc. Anything that would cause someone to look into your background will raise flags and make it easier to catch you.
My advise: don't break the law, and you will have nothing to worry about. Sounds like you are trying to make more trouble for yourself.

A warrent will be issued for your arrest. It depends on the original charge; if it was something minor ( a local warrent issued) then you should be okay unless you get pulled over in that state, if it was something more then anytime you get pulled over in any state the arrest warrent will come up, you will be held untill they call the state of Fl. and find out what they want to do with you (come and transport you or drop the charge)

you have already decided what your going to do. You are seeking to get confirmation of your intention. It looks so good to you right now. Will they track you down> Probably not, unless you are a major felon. What will happen is at that unexpected moment there will be a knock on the door and they will be standing there.
My suggestion to you is finish the probation period and then you can go wherever you want without fear of looking over your shoulder

the state will issue a warrant for your arrest. if you get pulled over for speeding ,and they run your name in the data base , well you are going back to jail. I know it must suck , but if you want to move ,they can transfer your probation. do it the right way , and you wont have to worry about always looking over your shoulder.

Good luck staying out of trouble, people like you thrive on trouble and tempting the police to catch you. You will fall, maybe not right now, but you will fall, they all do.
