Our culture lumps all judgment together and says that judging is wrong. The Bible teaches about different types of judgments that people make.
The Bible teaches that we should not try to determine who is saved or not--that Jesus will sit in that place of judgment in the end (I Corinthians 4:5), but it does tell us to look at people's actions to determine if they should be leaders in our church or not. In that sense, we are supposed to be "fruit inspectors."
When you see someone doing wrong and determine not to do the same, you are judging between right and wrong. You are using wisdom. I read the newspaper with my children and we talk about what people could have done differently and how they might have made better choices to stay out of trouble. I am judging the behavior and choices they made as less than wise for the purpose of teaching my children wisdom.
If you cross over into judging the person as less worthy than you or as being more sinful than you or you determine that person is definitely going to hell, you are doing the type of judging that the Bible condemns. If my thoughts drift over in that direction, I just "take them captive" as the Bible says to do and give them immediately over to God. The Bible also warns against judging someone for doing something that we are doing ourselves--hypocrisy.

You should not condemn anyone. People think that when Jesus returns that he is the only one that will Judge according to the scriptures whoever is living in the word of God upon Jesus' return and whoever died in christ, will be changed and given Judgment and will reign with christ for a thousand yrs. This thousand yrs wil everyone will no that God is God. Than satan will be let loose for a little while and even though Jesus will reign a thousand yrs on earth the people will still follow satan like the sands of the see. These people are the ones that will be Judged along with the people that died and did not no christ.
So therefore, to judge or condemn someone now is not good, however when someone tells you something that is contrary to the word of God you can correct them according to the word of God. The scriptures says that whoever will hear will hear and whoever will not hear will not hear. The Lord already knows who his elect are. It is up to you to find out what you should do to obtain the reward.

Judging is not seeing sin and deciding to do otherwise. Judging, to me, is when we put ourselves in God's place of judgment. Yet since we are not God, we never know or see the whole picture of a particular person's life and their struggle with particular sins. Judging makes people feel better about the sins they themselves commit as they deem their sins less sinful. I always remember that however I judge another is the same measure of judgment that I receive. It is then that I claim God's grace for me and for my brother or sister.

Deciding that you are not going to do that is not necessarily judging someone. Depends on your heart attitude when you make that decision. If your thought process is, "OMG, I can't BELIEVE what such and such did. I'll NEVER do that", you've crossed over into judging. But if you see a behavior that you know is contrary to God's teachings and make an educated observation that you will participate in that behavior, it is not judging. Best way to know if you're judging is to look at whether it is in an accusatory stance that you make that observation. Judging is SOOO easy to fall into. We, as humans, always tend to look at other people's faults and shortcomings as a way to justify the sin in our own lives. It's good that you're aware of it. Be blessed!

Choosing not to do something because you think it is wrong is not the same as judging. You can recognize something as a bad choice without sitting in judgement of the other person.

2ndly, yes its easy n natural and animal-instinct to judge a person esp those whom u don't like
But since the God, if s/he is really there, has sent to u here without any judgement, who r u to judge others anyway?
Did Jesus judge anyone?

If you see someone do something bad, and you decide you won't do it, then you have learned from their mistake....this is NOT judging....
If you however, see someone do something bad and start thinking they are bad for doing it, then that MIGHT be judging....it's a fine line between judging and just being human...like you said.....really, you answered your own question....lol...
