Most women love spontaneous gifts, flowers, fruit basket, candy, a crystal, candles, or anything special. Be sure to do that for your mom also. She would love it. I remember bringing flowers to my mother and how delighted she was!

There is always a reason. It just seems cute and spontaneous if she doesn't expect it or know the reason. Knowing that, I think its kind of corny.

Gift her but not too often. Don't treat her like she's a step above you. It takes two to make a relationship happen and if you put the puss-e on a pedestal it makes you look bad.
